I was recently laid off work and may be relocating out of state from California soon. I have an unusual trio in an outdoor aviary here in San Diego that I'd love to see get an even bigger aviary to live in or possibly be split up for breeders to very good homes. The female Keel bill toucan (Pebbles) is fairly tame to me; she lets me pet her and rub her face and under wings. The female green turaco (Bert) is also very curious/friendly, always first to want hand fed or to play with your finger. The female violet turaco (Ernie) is the least tame, but not nervous. All 3 have been together for over 4 years now in an aviary approximately 9'x12'x12' tall. They are all approximately 4-5 years old because I got them all under 6mo old. They definitely could use more flying room. I recently, like two months ago had their feathers DNA checked and they all came back females, I thought the turacos were males originally hence their names Bert & Ernie. I'd like to get close to what I paid for them originally, which was $3K for Keel Bill, $600 for Violet and $400 for Green. I'd prefer to keep them together.
