- These Fawn Bobwhites are similar to the Snowflake Bobwhites but are a slightly lighter diluted version. The chicks from these birds available should hatch out the tan color like the pictures. I have been working on this color project for years now. Couple of the pictures show the tan/brown colors I'm striving for. This color is very possible to hatch out next year from the birds I'm offering.
I finally have an excess of young birds this year to offer some of these very rare colored Bobwhites.
I have not been able to find them again since I bought some eggs years ago although I did see an ad for them this past spring (same person I got my initial eggs from). All his were the diluted version with no tan/brown colored ones.
