  • Title: Emu Pair DNA sex unrelated socialize
  • Name: Brandon
  • Location: Campton, Kentucky
  • have a pair of emus both 1 year old one was born November the other was born in December. They are unrelated and DNA sexed as well as no death or other markers in there DNA. All clear as breeders. They have both been handled since day one. They are sweet and will come up to you let you pet them. They have been super socialize, but not to the point they don't know they are emus and think they are people. They reach laying age around 16 months meaning around March or April they could start laying. The typical emu lays 30 eggs a season. Fertilty is around 90 percent when they get it figured out. So 30 chicks times 400 a chick thats 12k a year they can make. They are for sell or trade to trio of rhea birds.
