- My Emu season has started and I'm selling and shipping freshly laid eggs from my six different unrelated pairs. My birds are paired up to give the highest chances of blonde, with a very good chance of white and a very small chance of brown (2 of the pairs are blonde/blonde, which theoretically can give a brown chick but I've yet to see it myself. All other pairs are blonde/white or brown/white which only give blonde or white chicks).
I've raised Emus and other ratites for many years now and am proud of my birds. I will also be incubating eggs that don't sell and will have chicks from December onwards.
