- 0.1 captive-bred, 2025 closed-banded, DNA-sexed blue-gray tanager hen. Daughter of my very prolific wild-caught pair. Eleven months old and ready to breed. $300.
They are on a diet of daily fresh fruit and vegetables (banana, papaya, green peas, carrots, corn, blueberries, apple, pomegranate, green beans, mango, peach, grapes, etc.), dry Mazuri Softbill pellets, and insects (both dried and live but prefer live mealworms and waxworms). They love to bathe daily but are also trained to drink from a water bottle with metal dropper. The birds are naturally very flighty.
