We are looking for a new home for our two captive-raised Mute Swans.
Dad is approximately 5 years old, and the younger swan is his cygnet, born last season. Based on behavior, we believe the younger one is also male, although it has not been professionally sexed.
These guys have been part of our farm family and are very accustomed to people. They follow us around like dogs, come looking for us, and are always interested in whatever we're doing. ❤️
They are bonded and will only go together. Finding the right home is much more important to us than finding one quickly. We're looking for someone with an appropriate private pond/water environment, preferably with experience caring for swans or large waterfowl.
They are not wild swans being captured or relocated; these are privately kept, human-habituated birds.
